I have the ddm 29cc billet head 14 to 1 2mm stroke kit and have gone through 2 new cylinders due to them breaking in the same exact spot. I did assembly perfect and they just break. Bad run of cylinders or something else. I am not to lean run synthetic oil at 32 to 1. Any ideas tired of spending money on parts that I shouldn't.

2 bolt

Uncertan where this guy went - old post.- Heres what you do on the cheap-- Go to ddm- spring for the cy29 pull off top end. be shure its for the 30mm rod crank- $25.00. thats right, 25 bucks. While you are @ ddm, buy a stanless steel reinforced graphite coated base gasket -$ 3.00. Go to the hardware store and buy 1 sheet of 3m 320 grit wet or dry sandpaper. find 2 thick flat washers for the base bolts.- - cut a piece of this above mentioned 320 grit- about the size of your thumb- drag the paper with your thumb in a circle- 1 direction- around both sealing surfaces- jug-bottom case.- just enough to clean the metal- spray crc electronic cleaner- buy it @ wal-mart-$5.00. - on a soft white cotton cloth- lightly -lightly wipe the newely cleaned mating surfaces until the cloth wipes clean.- do NOT clean the gasket. assemble as usual-blue lok-tite holes in the engine cases- NOT the bolts with flat washers.- Torque the bolts- start @ 4 ft lbs- 1 bolt at a time, 1 ft lb at a time- stop @ 7 ft pounds of torque.- Run the engine @ idle about 15 -20 min, let it cool- and re torque to 7 ft pounds agan.- do this also after your 1st run on the engine. --- The 320 black silicon carbide sand paper is so the slippery graphite coated base gasket has a texture to seat into- lock on to--easy as falling off a wet log-- enough said- do it and see for your self.
