Have 3 motor choices for a Dbxl-e 2.0 to go with a Xlx2, Leopard 58113 870kv, Castle 2028 1100kv, Tp 5670 1010kv all on 8s. What are people's opinion and reasoning??

I'm curious too as I start to build my 5ivet 2.0

I have a big old TP power something or other form an old boat project... Let me dig that out and see what it was...

Not even sure if it was sensored... Is sensored critical?

Found my old TP power motor

It's a 5850, something close to 1000kv. No sensor. I'd need to seal it up... Maybe I can install a hall sensor kit on it...

But I looked up specs on this and your tp power 5670 motor and the specs/power are very similar...

Is yours sensored?

No it's not. Trying to use what I've already got.

I’d go with the Castle to get sensored throttle control. There’s probably not much of a power difference between the three.
