Hello,
I took my Losi Desert Buggy XL out for the first time today. I went over a lil dip and it caused me to endo or flip over frontwards. After that it just drove very slow, even at full throttle, just barely creeping along. I looked at the throttle servo and push rod assembly, it seems to have full range of motion. Also, after the crash the steering servo was working fine but, after few min of messing with it, the steering servo would barely turn. Rx battery low? But it had full charge.

My guess was something in the throttle pushrod assembly jarred loose, but I'm not sure.

What else should i check? Do these gassers have a slipper clutch, maybe that spring came loose?

Any info would help, thanks.

The Set screw on the drive shaft seems fine. Thanks tho.

I think its an issue with the throttle.

A drive pin must have come out somewhere. Check every u-joint. With this being your first time with it, check the diff fluid levels in all three diffs. If a pin did come out somewhere, You don't wanna be revving to high heaven if one side of the diff is getting all the drive power. The heat will cook whatever sludge is in there from the factory. Centre and rear are super easy to get out and the front takes a bit more time but really isn't too bad at all. It's a very easy buggy to work on.

Its new for me. My LHS had a raffle for a used one, I won the raffle. You mean a pin in the driveshaft? Thanks I'll check that stuff.
