Well what a coincidence, I just received my kit yesterday. Going to try doing a little work on one and see what happens.
I just ordered my g360rc cyl and am curious if its up to par with zenoah? Its made in japan but not "by" zenoah. Its confusing but a chat with al at bhhanson.com kinda cleared things up.

Komatsu owned zenoah. Komatsu sold zenoah to huskqvarna. Huskqvarna did not want to handle the distribution of zenoah parts so outsourced it to fujiwara. Huskqvarna sold zenoah to kyodo / kyosho?inc. And now kyodo has moved all zenoah production to fujiwara so now fujiwara make zenoah parts but branded as fujiwara.

So thats why i really want to see in 6 months are these new topends as durable as the old zenoah 320 cylinders.

I'm not overly concerned about it not being genuine Zenoah. Made in Japan is certainly better than China. I have used aftermarket cylinders plenty of times on saws with no issues. Can't hurt to try, I guess. Hey over a 10% increase in size? I'll take it!! Have to see what happens.

Husqvarna was never really involved with the hobby engines, they bought zenoah for the stratto tech they had in small power equipment. Its not really big news that husqy would let that end of zenoah go to the wayside. Its a really, really, really small part of the larger outdoor power equipment business. I doubt the transition will be a bad thing. BTW husqy still owns zenoah.
