Hey forist how is that dom mod holdin up? Have you had any problems with leaks around the coupler, or noticed any loss in horsepower since the mod?

Rob64N had this same concept mod on his Jetpro sidepipe it worked very well.

I feel those big heavy steel pipes are a big lever to stress the cyl hold down bolts without the coupler.

Good job ! I bet you will have a much better car now as far as vibration issues.

That mod is working great as of the present time that we have been runing the truck no more broken head bolts

Well glad to someone besides me to take on that lil challenge i will put some pics of mine to show how i have also put two tabs for the spring so i don't have to use the hose clamp, but anyway great job welcome to the we have a brain club, lmao

Thats good to hear, I haven't had any problems with my Side Dom to this point, but if I should ever bend or snap those bolts that mod will be in my future. I just wanted to be sure after creating a secondary leak point, that air leaks were not gonna be an issue. Thanks for the info guys!

it is working well for me so far but I did end up putting 2 clamps on the hose. No power loss as I can tell.

Hey forist, did you have to add a second hose clamp due to an exhaust leak? And if so im thinkin you probably had to put one at both cut ends of the pipe right?

Sorry i just noticed you also put the tabs and a spring using my phone and pics are small but anyway the jetpro was a lil bit of a pain since there is nothing round about that pipe, lol. i'll try to get some pics on here to help explain easy way to do it, gonna do another one for my prototype truck but that will need alot of mods since it has narrow chassis
