I had a problem fixing my dominator mid high pipe to my truck. The exhaust curves slightly as it leaves the engine. This makes a problem as accesss to hex bolts is very limited. I had to cut a hex key to get it to fit. I am thinking about going for a 29cc kit now, and want to get the bolts for the exhaust. I don't want to remove the exhaust this soon as i wanna keep using it.

I think i will replace them with normal bolts so i can get a spanner side on.

Anyone else had this problem???

Mate,i had a tw*t of a time getting mine on! I had to bend, grind and force the thing on.With these being made by DDM and specifically for the MT/Marder i thought they would fit better.
I might suggest slackening your engine mounts off to give a little more play.Or,if you ask Jackobyte to post a pic of his,he came up with a top class idea that even stops the bolts from loosening under vibration.

Is this the same as the dominator/ddm top end pipe which I have and planning on installing onto my FG this weekend?

If yes any suggestions on how to install? I thought it would be bolt on and go, maybe a slight mod to the roll cage to make sure it doesn't melt with the heat where the pipe goes through at the start right out of the head.

Sepera,BTB put the mod up somewhere, where it is I don't know but if he reads this thread I'm sure he will find it .
If you need pics I can post some of mine.

Don't know if I'm the exception, or there have been modifications since the original design.
I've a top end DDM Dominator and it's perfect.
I've even had to remove it and replace it without any problems.
LOUD? Of course, that's what you need, unless you can fit a remote twin air horn? !! Warn people you've a 15kg truck screaming in a 40mph!!
I did find you have to part screw in the main bolts, and the side bolt until they were all tight - don't just tighten up all at once - I DID and the side mount didn't fit properly, but only because of the bolts holding the exhaust off the gasket - little by little.

Water in reciever, truck ran away. How you stop water???

Truck is brilliant now, all your help and its going great.

Well till the other day. Hit some water and the inevitable happened. Got in reciever box and truck went crazy. Struggled to catch it, and in doing so my mate has a huge bruise on his leg and no skin left on his fingers!!!!!!

Is putting it in a balloon a good idea. don't wanna run it through deep deep puddles, but a bit of resistance to spashes would be good.

Hope you can all help me out again

The reply's always 'absolutely, YES, but ... ' normally related to access and overheating ... your call.
I suppose with it being Winter, you're not going to have much of a problem with temps!
I've just come back from 32C in Mexico to 3C in UK - wonderful !!!
