Yes, but it is a royal PITA! Rub some 2stroke oil on it. It will help.

It is such a PITA, when ever I have a grommet start to leak I just pick up a whole new tank. LOL

I just add a hole to the existing grommet!

The oil trick is not working either, the gormment is just way too big for the tank DDM should really add notes for this product that it's a super tight fit for Rampages. It's not trying to squeeze something the size of a penny through something the size of a dime it's just not going to fit.
 
ya know? this post reminds me of a girlfriend i used to have---- i will save the bone in ham joke for another day--- anyways, it could be helpful to soften the rubber part in hot water? if you have troubles with getting the metal tru the grommet, try slightly rounding off the end just a little- then try. if you can get a finger under the hole in the gas tank, this will help support the tank too as you attempt to get this part in place.
 
After looking at your other pics, I need to mention, the grommet needs to be installed with only the pickup line installed. You will never get it in with all three lines in the grommet.
 
Yep I figured that out the hard way lol I got it all installed now what a pita like you said
