ddm torque w/ddm prefilter

Is the outerwear air filter prefilter a one size fits all? It is very large on my fhmt clone and touches my new ddm dominator torque. I haven't ran the torque to full temp. yet . Will the back part get hot enough to melt this prefilter?

They come in many different sizes. 2 1/2 x 3 is probably the go for a Carson.

I have them too in my buggy and its back is actually resting against my Jetpro pipe. Been running it for a while now(15L of fuel) and it hasn't melted yet and I can't see any sign of it all:2guns:

Any chance you guys could cut up a worn pair of your nylons and stick it over the outerwear's to get it tighter?
