i posted the same question on hbf a few months ago, now, i order about three times a month !!!!!!!!! :*( !!!!!!!! im sick!

they are great. i get my parts within 2 to 3 days! :)
 
I picked up a foam pre-filter from Rossendale Models the other day to go over my K&N. Its just a single stage FG filter part no 6513. The lad that races the FG's (Richard I think) reckoned it would do the job & there was no need for an outerwears, just make sure it oiled before and washed after every outing. He did have alternatives so I don't think he was just saying it & it was only £2.49 so not expensive either.

I will give it a go when my x-can stingers arrive from MMR hopefully tomorrow!!

i might just get the prefilter off mmr as the part i need for my air filter is on ebay :cool2:

blimey dwarfy i have a newish red x-can with both short and long outlets

you could have had that if i had known you needed bits:)
 
Thanks matey! I wish I had known cos everywhere seemed to be out of stock for a while. I got the can off Voo & it had 2 home made pipes 1 either side but they are going in favour of the 3" stingers so that I can take shell off without fannying around!! oh its on a marder BTW!!

I traded(stupidly) with a member(is he/she a member with 1 post) £380 worth of alloy not DOLLARS! and within 30 minutes changes his mind(MODS can check) I refunded his payment!

Sorry Voo it was not meant like that :blush: Im happy with the can but I have just changed the long pipes that ran to the back for 3" stingers to come out of either side that all. Kinda like Trip's (I think its his!) just makes it easier to remove the shell. The 3" also do away with the need for the silicone tubing so its 1 less joint to leak oil into my shell from :). No return necessary!!!! All I was saying was that I wish I had known Trebor had the stingers for sale cos its been an arse getting hold of some - lots of UK dealers sell them but they were out of stock for ages!! Im impatient when it comes to ordering parts - I want them yesterday :clown::clown:

I am only going to comment on the original reason for this thread. DDM is great and if every business gave the service that DDM gives my life would be a lot easier. LargescaleRC.com is all so great. It is hard to find business this day and age that give the service theirs business do. I have done business with both and will keep doing business with both.
