Hi everyone!
New to the forums.

In the process of deciding if I should go with the Losi 5ive roller or RTR. I'm leaning towards the roller with an OBR. There are so many to choose from my head hurts. I'll just be doing bashing, no racing, so I want something reliable.

What HP is the stock engine? I was running my friends and it seems to scream at full throttle but hits top speed at mid throttle. If I bought the RTR and put a pipe on it how much speed would I gain?

I want an engine that is faster then the stock if I go with the roller. OBR has 5.5hp, 6hp, 7.5 hp. Ease of use and reliability are paramount to me. I want to play not tinker so much.

I'll also need servos if I go with the roller.

Any help or suggestions are very welcome.

An obr engine is one of the best out there but if you plan on getting the widow maker good luck cause there sold out and out of stock everywhere!!!!and if u do get one please let me know where u got it from..

Not planning on going for the widow maker. Was looking at the 6021, 6274 or 1719. I'll need to give them a ring to find out the difference & which will suite my needs best.

Yeah I was going to say just call and they will be able to set you up with everything you need..myself I have a stock 26 with a better carb, better air filter,a Bartolone big bore pipe and a good tune and it's pretty fast!!awesome torque..I can rip donuts on dry pavement from a dead stop..I've turned it as fast as 43 mph when it's a bit warmer outside.likes warmer weather for sure..so even if u went stock and all u wanna do is start and go with no tinkering I think stock is plenty with some upgrades and I think you will be very happy..

Rc I'm an OBR guy, got the Widowmaker 38 in one 5ive and the OBR/TR Reed 30.5 in the other and the DBXL, they are stout, reliable, and tons of power, 21 tooth pinion is sweet in the Reed case, I'm looking for something taller for the Widowmaker, I got the Victory pipe made for it and it's sick good luck and any of them are worth every penny
