Hey guys,
Me and Ian (drifter) met up with Barry (1275mini) earlier today to have a look over the site they fly in and that also provides the Moto-X guys a place to run. All the heli guys that turned up today think it is a great idea to let us join up with them and create a bash spot and track for the 2 strokes. It appears the farmer is ok with letting us run on his land as long as we abide by some basic rules as it is a working farm.
We can through the farmer get hold of a container and one of the heli guys has access to a JCB type machine that willhelp us build the track etc. Fees will be approx. £40 a year plus I feel all club members should be members of the BRCA as it provides third party insurance for about £15 a year.
i think the next step is for all those truly interested in doing this should pm me with name and contact number so that i can present a list to the heli guys to show how interested we are. we then need to organise a viewing of the fields to nominate an area that suits us best. Following this we should create a committee to oversee the work we need to do. this with the right help, can be done over a few weekends if we all chip in.
Pics... sorry for the dirty lens, I wish my wife was as dirty
