Mooky, what tire/rim combos have you run? I'm asking because I've been running Bowties on Desperado's for our races here. The track is pretty loamy and loose so the Bowties dig into it. I didn't get a chance to run the stockers since I sold them before I started running at our track. I did like the fact that the stock setup was light. Also, the tires were lower profile and had alot less sidewall deflection compared to Baja tires. What are your thoughts on Bowties vs. the stock tires?

gotta be honest mate i have run stock wheels and tyres from day 1


rain snow sun wind all the same set of tyres and rims.


i did try baja wheels and tyres but found the car wallowed in corners, the only problem with the stock ones is if you push em hard you can wear through a side wall in one race session!!! :mad:


still mine only have to last two more races in the nationals and the i will know if im the british national outlaw champ:cool:
