Yes and yes. Plus some chassis flex. That normaly happens after a hard jump. Check out the products 7075RC had to the left. They have aluminum diff cases and are in the process of developing high strength chassis.

Thought this wasn't common with the XB-E because it has better bracing than the XB/XT. Probably just a hard landing.
