For those of you heating the diff cups are you just heating the shafts and not the cup? Do you have any pictures or video to show the rest of us. I'm assuming you just heating the shafts as they change colors you work your way up the shaft but not heating the cup itself?

Yep, deep blue Moo. Still going strong. I had it at work tonight showing the guys. Gave it a brief 15 minute run from the dry sediment ponds to the top of the "hillclimb". Really not much of a hillclimb but that's what the guys call it! The hillclimbs at the slate dumps, now those are the real deals! I haven't tried tackling the biggest there yet but have conquered the rest of them. I only made the big one on my Yamaha Raptor before i sold it. I am pretty confident the Ramp can do it, just got to get there when the bikes and quads aren't running. :D

I just did mine and we're talking only 1 minute a piece? Does this sound right? I used a propane torch and started at the end and worked my way down to the cup, but the shaft turns blue within 30 seconds and then I chased it down in another 30-45 seconds. That's it ???????

Yeah, it doesn't take long. I didn't temper the cup on mine as I don't think that they need it. I didn't want to weaken the cup and have it torque and split.

Yeah, I didn't break a cup.......shock shaft instead!.....rigged it for the mile walk out.....took an hour to fix at home (I had some spare 5B shafts) and then back out......the dirtbikes and quads love it......"hit that jump again".......yee-haa.....oh no.....right on it's lid, drove the body post thru the Asgard.

It held up ok, just pulled the post back thru, it went around the end of the post so it's a 1" hole instead of 3/8"......oh well......it's a tough body. Tell Moo to give you the 2nd exhaust coupler!

I lost my stinger for good today in the pit where all the dirtbikes run, they all stopped to watch and I even got some applause, I gotta get some deflectors like the xcan ones, i like it better with the stinger though as it just makes the pipe a bit crisper.

Any how broke another diff cup in the front...the only untouched one so the control worked in this experiment...tempered are fine, the dremelled one was fine, stock broke. I've tempered both up front now so should be bullet proof. Also got a small stone jammed in the brake and it buggered a brake disc....gas jockey to the rescue again, gears and now brake parts and more ramtech springs for my TT

I got the ramtechs on my mt and they are the dogs bollocks for sure so want some for the tt and i want another set of bajampage shock kits from fatslacker when he gets off his butt.

think i'll dual steering too, i got a digi4 i could throw in but I think I'll ebay it and get another 5745 for $60.
