Hi All, new to the site and a got a buggy for christmas and have been out only 3 time since getting it. It broke the left front diff cup on the first outing and i have since got a t bone bumper and skid set for it and a set of mt tt truck diff cups for it and it was ok the 2nd.

But this time it has not broken but the same side front has a crack in it.

I have been prity rough on it and somtimes over the jumps it dose at least a 4mtr drop to flat ground.

Last outing i bent a front shock tower, cracked a drive cup, i think it also bent the fron universal shaft, lost a grub screw out of the front diff cup so it was only 2wd and a rear wheel bearing colapsed.

Im prity happy with it and for what i put it through it dose well and its has good speed stock, same acceleration and top speed as my friends 26cc hpi baja the but is awsome on 8s as i have got a castle XL esc for it now and is crazy on 8s.

Any other option's apart from making sure it dosn't nose dive over jumps. :)

I fitted another new set of front diff cups today and was checking how far the arms can flex back with the stock top arms.

Has anyone upgraded to alloy top or bottom arm's as i think this may help to stop this due to there being too much flexability in the front arms. I think flexability is a good thing but there is way too much and i think and it is allowing the arm to flex back too far jamming the drive shaft in the diff cup and bracking the diff cup and bending the drive shaft.

I have purchased a set of top alloy arms today and will see if these help as they should limmit the amount of flex but will still have flex in the lower arm and front hub assembly.

What do you guys think.

Aluminum will bend under some of the same loads and be irrepairable. You obviously bash pretty hard, and this is usually what happens under enough abuse.

If you upgrade to aluminum uppers, you will want the titanium turnbuckles. The others will snap off in the rod ends.

Ok thanks for the info guy's.

I managed to go out yesterday and not brake anything and was a good day, i have removed the front sway bar also as it was quite bent from the last outing and i supose practice at jumping it has improved and did not have as bad front end stacks so all is sweet for next time.
