Diff Joint Cups

How do I heat treat the diff joint cup shaft? Please.

I know there are some more threads on here about this but here for starters.

mmoman007 has it down great, he also mods the cup with a metal ring for added strength, I have 2 sets of his modded diff cups.

Ok so I am still really new to all this so not really sure on the name, but do I need to temper the shaft on the things that spin the drive shafts? Or just the diff cups?
