Diff Lube

Needing some advice on these diffs that I have. I'm wondering what grease I need for these 2 diffs? I realize that some here are across the pond so I'm particularly looking for a type of grease instead of a brand name, as I'm sure brands differ between countries. Hoping some can help here. Thanks in advance.

On both Diffs you can use the same stuff - Castrol lithium grease is what I use like this http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/..._productId_172551_langId_-1_categoryId_165705

or any good quality grease with similar contents.

On the one way diff, you only need a smear on the various componants.

On the four fold diff you only need a healthy blob on the gears (each side) and certainly don't pack it.

You're better off using a light LM grease.

it's just hd bearing/gear grease...i buy tubes of it for my equipment...3bucks a tube...tacky as hell...i buy the red stuff because everyone knows red is faster

In a four fold diff, you don't want anything to excessive because it will affect what the diff is designed to do.

I have the latest 4WD FG Leopard and have been using blue EP wheel bearing grease without issues.
The trick is not to pack the thing with grease as some diff set-ups won't work properly.
I use a light smear on the gears and it lasts for ages.
