Hey all, Ramp TT on the way.

Are the diffs grease filled?

What weight oils are you running?

ya the diffs have a good amount of grease in them. not sure on the wt. im using ofna's 3,000wt dif lock. i haven't run it yet, but it feels pretty tight. the numbers are diffrent from my fg diff oils, but its super thick.

there is no center diff like our old buggies(ofna).. i am running that all around on my mt. but i will probly losen up the front. you will have to do a little more tuning if you are gona be running a track. it will also be slighty diffrent for you couse the tire weight. all depends on your driving style and were your running. im doing alot of snow running so tighter works better now. where are you getting your diff lube from.. in my on-road im running fg's 20,000 and its lighter then my ofna stuff, so it all depends

I'm using mugen 60000 in the front and 120000 in the rear, I like tail out oversteer round corners so it works well for me, it's thick stuff but not as thick as the stuff that came in the diffs from the factory..that was real tacky.

ya, that was some funky gear grease. now like i said, my diff feels tight, but i will run it tomorrow and see how it is. moo's is up to 12 in his mt? that sounds like fun..

Might be a stupid ???? But, do the diff cases need a gasket so the diff lock doesn't leak?

i saw someone had a problem from factory assembly. but you will see when you take them apart that they are sealed very well. there is a gaskit ring inside to help and the secondary case is also sealed well. if its assembled properly i couldnt see it leaking at all.. its a pretty good simple design. even comparing it to my ss diff.

NOTE: to get the pin off the drive cup you will have to pull a very small set screw out of the case. its kinda hard to see if you don't know its their. and on the other side to get the pin IN it has to slide in under the bevel of the main gear. almost looks like the pin is too long but it will only go in one way.. you'l know what im talking bout when you see it

man you guys ROCK!! in this fourm!! thanks for the help I should see it Wed or Thurs.

hey guys,

when i took my MT apart, i recognized that the rear diff is leaking, perhaps the front too,

so in a few days i will open ém up to see what i can do ( the car is still new, i just fixed the engine and the pipe ), so if i have to refill the diffs, what i think i have to do, what oil would you recomend for me, driving not to hard, MT-tires on, will just be driven in a sand-pit, or on gras?

3k frt and 5 or 7k rear, some people run thicker like 30k or 50k but more likely to break things. i'm putting 3k frt and 7k rear in my mt right now.
