Diff Up Grade

I was doing my diff up grade ,and was wondering if every one was leving the littel orings on the spider geers ,behind the shims ?are they for gear mesh .

They are kind of dual purpose both as a seal and some tension on gear mesh. Put them back in or your diff lube will be in the outer gearbox in a hurry.

and while you have them apart make sure you temper the diff cup shafts
