Different Tires On stock TT wheels?

Can you put any other tires on the stock TT wheels or do I have to buy aftermarket rims? Just wondering because I like the design of the TT rims and would like a set but not if I have to stick with the Redcat tires.

as far as i know there arnt enyother tires that will fit, if you want new rubber go with hpi size hexes

I have broken both of the rears on my TT at the spokes half way around right by the wheel nut. I fixed it for now tho with some wire will post up some pics of it later. Has any one had this problem ? And I wondered if they could be boiled like the other plastic parts or would it make them to soft.

when i bought mine i broke both the rims in the front just doing fig 8 on pavment, as well as the other guy who bought one before me. i ended up putting on proline wheals and tires within 3 days of owning the buggy
