Hi ya all,
Can anyone explain the difference between a digi servo and a standard?
I have two jumbo Hitecs in my Beetle and a Multiplex jumbo digi in my MT and the Hitecs seem to work better.I know there is more mass to move on the tyres on the MT but the servo is really slow and will only turn full lock when the tyres are off the ground or in the first 4-5 turns on a full battery. The Beetle has no problems turning the tyres.
I have a standard size 180oz servo on my crawler and you can hold it vertical by the tyres and it will shift the whole truck from side to side.
I'm thinking of installing two 180oz servos in the MT ,will it work?
Suggetions please.Thanks in advance.
J.

I would go for something like a single Multiplex Rhino Digi4 in the MT, I have one in mine and it turns the wheels with ease and very fast!

Digital servos are usually more powerful and faster, when they are actually used in digital mode..., however as most decent radios support either you have the choice. But if you have one analogue servo mixed in (as I do on my throttle) then you're unable to use the digital features and have to run them in analogue mode.
