Hi friendsI
bought two Dina kill switches and in both cars the spark plug power is cut off when the light is on and when it is off as well. I have a Futaba T4PM Plus radio! I appreciate anyone who can help me!!
Thanks

Light on = Braaap!. It is likely your radio programming.

Thousands of vids on YT but i watched this and very easy to program. Go to 3:50

No major problems here. I have installed 4 of them, the only problem I had was with my old Spectrum Radio , I had to change the frame rate on the channel for the switch. Simple fix , yes it took me a while to figure it out but it now works just fine.

Ive only had one issue because imma dummy. I plugged mine directly into the battery by accident. I let the smoke out with a pop. The replacement has been fine. Lol

make sure the channel you're using on the futaba is set at switched fella (y) ,
i cant remember the correct term, maybe linnear or switched in the menu options,
i'm going off futaba 4pls but basically the same radio as the 4pv,

friendsI
still have the problem, I followed the video exactly and it didn't work on either model!! New Futaba T4PM Plus radio! New Losi Dessert Buggy 2.0 and Losi 5T 2.0!! Light bulb on and off, no power in the park plug?? frustrating!

unplug it from the box with the light. Pull the plug and test for spark.
If it is unplugged it should have spark.
To install it you pulled the coil I assume? How is the air gap if you did?

I have already checked the spark plug spark on both, if I disconnect the red connector of the cable coming from the engine, it does produce spark on the spark plug!

Not doubting you , just wanted to be sure. Not sure then myself. other than communication between transmitter and receiver.
I am not good at the electronic end of things as far as settings. I am trial and error one step at a time. I will make a change and if it doesn't work go back before making another change. Sorry can't really help you.
