direct drive

would it be ok to go straight from motor to a rear diff .. like using no pinion gears or spur .. no belt .. just direct drive ?

It would be geared way too high.

i get it now .. i was looking for speed not torque ..

The electrics spin really fast, like 30,000-40,000 rpm. They still are geared down for speed.
