I got tarmac from yebay and getting hostiles just to see how they work out for me
 
Front don't grip enough even on a 2wd. Rears grip OK but wear out EXTREMLY fast. Ive tried them thats my opinion from experience. The fronts might make good drift tires at all 4 corners though.

dirtbusters got very good grip, soft compound is good almost everywhere but they wear out,hard compound is close to tt stock and medium are medium:)


for racing dirtbusters are good choice but if you don't use glued molded inserts its possible you loose two tires in one race(45-60 min.in my case)if you choose dirtbusters use 4front block( ribs are useless for 4wd)or 4 rears.
 
Try the new HB tires if you are using HPI wheels, they are soft but seem to have a sturdier compound than the Dirtbusters. They grip good and are cheap too...
