I was staying at Oswego N.Y. years ago. On saturday night in a large city to the east -Saracuse??-- We could hear these cars. A-rab said that they were the cars with the off set engines. No idea what they are supposed to be called,- these cars were really loud! - anyone know what these cars are called?? The engines set almost inline with the front-rear left side of the cars!

Not sure Alfred but the sprints used to run at Syracuse until it was canceled because there to fast. Syracuse is a mile track and the local track here is 1/2 mile. They are extremely fast here could only imagine what it was like in Syracuse. The sprints fastest qualifiers were at 140 MPH and as the race goes on they get faster. Insane on dirt but love every minute of it. Oh and the cars are direct drive so its instant power :)

we have one out here in Idaho at a place called Atomic City if it's the right race your guaranteed to eat dirt and lots of it. Other than that we are mainly asphalt Magic Valley Speedway and Meridian speedway
