Believe it or not, this WAS my car, 80% purchased, to go to Congo - I was bored. It's a replica, but a very good one. The company stopped paying me, hence the complications, then I left. The car was sold on.

It had a new 'old' Audi 200 V8 gearbox on a crate Ford 5-litre V8, 350 BHP. I selected the modestly tuned version in view of where it was headed.

WOW AL , that is stunning. 350 BHP.... I bet that was lively !!!:w00t:
 
'Small block' or not, it had a big American V8 with a tuned exhaust - replica of the real GT40 'bunch of bananas' or whatever it was called - the SOUND was fantastic.

The thing could SERIOUSLY shift, but many 'normal' fast sports cars could keep up with it, perhaps 0-60 in 5 dead, BUT NONE sound or look like it .... I only got to ride in it, company decided not to pay me for 2 years other than erratically, .... had to sell it, lost loads in exchange differences .... and that's that !!

Shame, but the thought of coming up behind some eediot in his company Landcruiser at the lights in Lubumbashi, DRC, them HEARING it and not being able to see anything through dimensions, lights change, and .... !!!!

I suppose I wouldn't have been here to tell the tale had I finally received it!!

FOUND IT !!
Before it was finalised - did a video shoot USING MY GT40 for a pop group - admittedly it was still THEIRS as I had yet to complete payment.
