Why don't I see anyone making their own 2S receiver battery pack like this one in the video.
DIY 2S

Small and nothing expensive about it. The brand Outerwears has to laugh about its price for the pullstart cover.

I will ask my aunt to make one for me. :)

The weather is getting better in Holland and almost RTR

He is using some 18650 Lithium-ion batteries. No thanks, unless you want to risk a fire and possibly losing your entire car. That battery is not meant to take impacts like an RC car will see. Leave that to the guys in India that like to do electrical work barefoot on wet concrete (no offense).

Didn't thought about the safety issue.

😅🤣 . Thanks for the tip about safety. I will go for a normal lipo or nihm battery.

Thank you all for the safety tips.

I mean lithium is lithium, but those 18650’s are for flashlights, laser pointers, cameras, etc etc devices that are not RC vehicles driving and jumping around.
I guess the lipos we typically use are “professionally” built somewhere in China but at least meant for our application.
Just want you to be aware ya know?

Yes.
2s lipo 2500mah 20C is enough for 1 a 2 hours bashing?

I am using Reedy LiFe packs for my Baja... 1900mAh pack lasts me a long time... I can run 2 full tanks (1.5hrs) and if I charge my pack I have used less than half capacity... mileage may vary depending on your servos, but realistically, they will last long enough for a big day of bashing

I bought this one and it fit's perfect in the battery bay. charged it till 8.4 volt and my HV servo's where working perfect with it. Load was 7,4 volt after running a full thank.
