Hey guys, having a hard time parting with $70-$80 on a rear bumper to protect my dominator pipe, so I have decided to make my own. I will be posting build pics to keep you guys updated...

I made the bumper stick out a little further for my pipe. Here's what I have so far...

OK, I cut the piece and dry fitted it. Let me know what you guys think so far. I plan on putting a few cross braces in it and possibly some tubes on the back as well.

RPM makes a nice rear skid plate to protect your pipe and only a couple bucks

Thanks man. I saw that skid plate but it looks like it follows the same lines as the stock bumper, which rubs on my pipe. Plus I like building things so I thought it would be fun.

I had some spare time so I made the 2nd piece. I still have to do some refining.

I'm mounting the bumper in the existing location, the two holes near the roll bar and on the chassis plate. I will press the lower ends of the new tubes flat with a bench vise and then drill screw holes.

thanks man, it may not be perfect but it will be strong! Im going to glass bead it when I'm done. That will give it a nice satin look to it.

wasnt dissin the work done was suggesting that they can damage your springs is all.........lol.......Might get you to make me something sometime

I did all of the bending with my bench vise, so its definitely not perfect. But it should be stronger than the flimsy stock ones.
