do elcon 4 shoe clutch kits fit redcats?

they are listed for bajas. just wanted to make sure they work with redcats. just wondering if these fit. i think clutch bell is diff from bajas and don't know if it matters.

Any 54mm clutch for the HPI's will also work in our vehicles. The Elcon 4 shoe clutch is very similar to the Lauterbacher. Currently I run the Lauterbacher which is bulletproof. The Elcon is a great clutch too if you get the upgraded titanium backplate. I wouldn't bother with the new style Lauterbacher 3 shoe. I was one of the first guys to get one and reported it's 5 minute destruction on HBF a long time ago. Fortunetely DDM gave me credit on it and I've run the off road 4 shoe since then.

I'd recommend everybody pick up a Lauterbacher and stop messing with the stock setup. The one Lauterbacher I'm running has paid for itself 3 times over already. Consistant engagement combined with very loooooooong shoe lifespan = great investment.

ok thanks. i didnt order it yet. i ordered a tgn air filter, velocity stack, pre-filter and x-can. and just ordered the 8k clutch kit. but i wasnt paying attention and order the baja clutch with 8mm bolts, so cant use the shoes (cats are 10mm bolts, right?)

i am hoping this a good start to upgrades and power. have done gas cap vent mod, cvd pins shrink tube mod and put locktite on EVERYTHING!
