Any 54mm clutch for the HPI's will also work in our vehicles. The Elcon 4 shoe clutch is very similar to the Lauterbacher. Currently I run the Lauterbacher which is bulletproof. The Elcon is a great clutch too if you get the upgraded titanium backplate. I wouldn't bother with the new style Lauterbacher 3 shoe. I was one of the first guys to get one and reported it's 5 minute destruction on HBF a long time ago. Fortunetely DDM gave me credit on it and I've run the off road 4 shoe since then.I'd recommend everybody pick up a Lauterbacher and stop messing with the stock setup. The one Lauterbacher I'm running has paid for itself 3 times over already. Consistant engagement combined with very loooooooong shoe lifespan = great investment.
