Do HPI baja 5T shocks bolt on?

Hi guys,


Was wondering if the front HPI Baja 5T or 5B shocks bolt right onto the Rampage MT V3? Love how smooth these are and the orange anodizing. Thanks!

I run the lower half in my stock shock body but i think to use the baja cap you may have to use some spacers not if the stock ball mount will fit cap but i know the lower ball fits the shaft end

I'd like to try the Baja VVC shocks. I think they would work well especially where I live with the varied terrain.

all you need is the lower unit with shaft it will thread into rampage shock bodies

You'll need something like the HemiRisers or you could notch the lower shock mount so the bottom spring retainer won't rub.

deluge do you run front shafts on the front and back or rear shafts all around?

I run the baja front shock shafts all the way around on mt rampage

I tried them back in the day when Redcat didnt have the thick shock shafts like the v3 has now. Now I run the v3 thick shafts.

metal finisher you know if you wanted you can make some shock tower extenders that will give you extra clearance to run the baja vvc hd shocks, the baja vvc hd shocks are 7 1/4 inches extended lenght for the fronts and the rears are just about 8 1/4 inches extended lenght, i went down to the local hobbie store and measured them because when i made my shock tower extenders i wanted to make them to fit the vvc/hd baja shocks....
