Do you grease the Drive Cup/CVD connection?

I've been applying a very thin layer of grease onto the CVD end that sits inside the drive cup. I'm slowly beginning to understand more and more about this machine, and I'm beginning to think maybe just a wipe down of WD-40 might work just fine. I remove the CVD's after a few outings just to check the truck over anyhow.

What do you guys do?

The baja boots fit.

If no boots, don't grease or use "wet" lubricants. Dry silicone would be ok if you really want something without a boot.

The Baja boots are around 22mm diameter, they fit really well on MT drive cups that have been sleeved. I use a zip tie on the smaller end to keep them in place, because they are made to fit thicker drive shafts. but they do the job. my MT has them on every drive shaft. My DR has smaller diameter drive cups.

Can you post pics , how boots installed?

I could not fit baja hostile black boot, too big.
