I noticed when I jump my truck that when it lands the bog bone hits the primary gear and it is grinding it down. Is this a common problem with the rear left suspension flexing?

Yes .....there are three solutions....alloy upper rear arms or extensions on your rear uprights, steel spur gear

its probably not the dog bone hitting your spur gear but rather your rear upper arms

Beware of bad spelling!
i had the same problem, it was the front balljoint that was broken, the turnbuckle was pushed in under a crash i guess and it destroyed the threads. just install a new balljoint and adjust it so that the dogbone has free space to move.

first post by me!

Take your tire off and twist you will see exactly what is hitting. You can do what I have done until the money tree grows a bit more and get a steel 48T gear. You will grind a spot int he upper arm shaft but it works. The 2nd cheapest way to slow the flex is upgrading lower arm to alloy (You can buy them one at a time). The only elimination is that awesome photo of the rear of hellya's FH!!:cool2:
