After 9 months of bashing madness I broke a rear D-bone :C Has anybody tried running the front cv on all four. I know it's probably not recommended and/or possible to doEricsPics002.webp

It will fit, however, most go the other route and run all dogbones when looking for more strength.

How did you snap it?

I was running on damp sand from rain with paddles on.. That dogbone snapped with no signs of twisting .I found it odd that it broke there and not the pin

might of had a bit of slag in that part of the bones rod- slag in the molten metal- Check this out- I hit one of my Norway maple trees- bout 3" round @ the butt- hit it hard enough that the xb peeled off 11" of bark- hard hit! broke 1 front drive cup- warped the lower a-arm bad- I swear, the a-arm repaired its self!- only thing i can figure- it has something to do with the type of plastic- and the way its molded- no kidding! - I did spring for a bunch of new parts- still running the factory a-arms.- This speaks volumes about these redcats---

They must have been hook'n up. :) You are correct the pins or cups normally are what breaks, not the shaft.

It was getting with the program without a doubt lol. About the front cv's I had a problem with the pin working its way to one side of the cup and became a pain in the arse and never again will I use them. It's rear hardware on all 4 for me. I will agree with you alfred!! I have never had a rc car take the kind of poop I can throw at it on a daily basis... these cats can

Look at the other D bone and see if the pins are still inline with each other.Id bet there not and id keep using them tell they bust.

Obeast44 is working with them on possibly producing them. He has the prototypes on his XB build. They look beefy!

That would be sweet!!! If they can hold up to the monster he dropped in that build they will be a nice addition to any platform

Hey guys, you all need to email fastlane for them. I have a set on the way, they only have them with 6mm ends. I was told if they go into production they will make 10mm ones as well. I think if all of us show interest it might push it along faster.
