Dogbones too short???

My son and I carried our Redcat out today for its first run and we had a blast!! Only problem we had was with the front dogbones, the kept falling out on the spindle side. I put a piece of fuel tubing in each drive cup and it fixed the problem. I am going to do the rear also, but was wondering if anyone else had this happen?? Are they a little on the short side? Great truck, even climbed some hills that the baja couldn't!!

The fuel tubing trick is the way to go, you don't want them long enough to hit the cup under full compression.

How thick of a piece did you use?


I don't think I have any extra fuel tubing laying around.

Any kind of tubing will work. Around 1/4 long. Or an airsoft pellet.

yep, 1/4" in each cup...
