Dominator Top-End pipe - construction?

I wondered if anyone had ever actually cut a tuned pipe up? I sliced my Dominator up earlier to make a few changes and wasn't too impressed with how it was made. From the inside it looked messy with exposed pipe from the manifold which would kill the pulse from the chamber, and the outlet was through a lot smaller hole than expected given the outer diameter tube.

I brought my pipe s/h so could have been the previous owner, but I don't think so. It's not like the pipe was slow either, my truck went ballistic with it, but really looking forward to see how it is now!

I did have some pics, but not of the inside as I didn't have my camera at the workshop. But I did post a pic of the new joining of the manifold to the pipe in my truck thread, will have to dig it out. I also fitted a silencer to the pipe which kills some of the performance, but it did seem to have a much smoother power band after the mods. :)
