I haven't been happy with my hitech 5765... till yesterday when I bumped the bec to 8.5 volts. Finally, servo bliss! Fast, powerful. Its what I had been used to in my smaller scales.

I recently killed by RX, so I have been using a cheapo orange box. When I changed profiles on my radio to the new RX, I forgot to re-set my endpoints. Care to guess what happened next?

After 3 good packs, steering died. Opened up the servo and the most retched burnt electronic smell poured out. Had to let it air out before taking a closer look. The motor burn out - board looks clean. Guess its time to try a savox and compare.

Lesson (re)learned. Set them endpoints when you change your servo/Tx profile!

That's too bad.

You are correct on getting those end points set. Even the strongest servos will burn themselves out if they can't move.
