Damn i have broken all 3 diff cups that i've replaced, and the last two in the same day which was yesterday. I have been running the stocks as i go along. they're just as weak as the upgrades. COME ON REDCAT WE WOULD RATTHER PAY A 100 BUCKS MORE FOR THE CAR THAN GO TO THE PARK AND RUN HALF THROTTLE ALL DAMN DAY WITH OUR TOES AND FINGERS CROSSED HOPPING NOT TO BREAK A PART. HARDEN THE DIFFS AND QUIT FOCUSING ON MAKING A HPI BAJA CLONE KING MOTORS ALL READY SELLS ONE. and yess the upgrades are garbage.
 
hey clubbin and the rest, what engines have u tried in your rampage? I swap out these two motors. Obrothers Reed ported 27.2 and Obrothers Pro Mod 4bolt 27.2. and what diff oils have the big engines guys have succes with so far ?
 
im running a 28.5 and X-can in my mt and my tt has an o'neils ported 25.4 with stock can.(not run yet) i have only run 3k but haven broke any upgraded diffs.

I am running a Race ported DDM cylinder I opened up a little more and stuffed crank in mine with a Sprint pipe and 813 carb.


The thinner the diff. oil is the more forgiving it will be on the internal's. I installed the upgraded pins and haven't had any failure's yet, but all I can see is snow, so once the snow melt's thing's might be a little different.

Yes, you are rite, I can see this thing hooking up real good. I have some Proline tire's and rims coming, loosing some of the rotating mass will also be a good thing.


I have a couple spare's built but if somthing better comes out that'll be agood thing.

LOL good one, +35 is only a couple month's away. I'll be doing all you listed plus more.

It used to be 24/7 365 untill to SOB's closed down Lost Creek in Sugarland. We need to get our Rampage's together. There's too many Baja's running around Htown lately.
 
hey cat chaser lost creek is still opened to rc's. cops came out and said that all of the complaints were from one single guy. so what they did was go to his house to see if the noise level , alsoentered his house and could'nt even hear any of the bajas out there . so i think they told him if he ever called them bak out there waisting their time on false claims that the cars were too loud , he was going to be the one in trouble. how ever we just can't stay ou there till 9 or 10 pm any more . but it's ok now. call dave at the rc shop. i think he was there.

Yes good news to hear south Texas is a RC friendly place There is no place like Texas Don't mess with Texas
 
hey sprint did'nt know that u were down from these patrs. good work on those pipes dude. have u ever thought about modding that mcd jetpro piipe so that it will bolt directly to the chassis with out a bridge?it clears the shock pretty good with contact but could be cut and welded at the header for better clearance . just a thought dude.
