There is 10 to 15 Guys that have 5t & 5b's that are Bracket racing in a parking lot,on a 132ft track =1/8 mile in scale. I just got a 5t about a month ago, runs good.My question is, I would like to have the quickest & fastest truck there, what can I do beside trying to lighten everything with aluminum. Thanks Herbie

you ll want to use Carbon Fiber in place of aluminum parts to lose pounds. and increase RPM and spool up time. I say a TS/ESP 23cc or 26cc, and as much CF and suspenstion tuning you can get.

keep in mind alot of power is only good if you can put it down controllably.

i think we are going to shoot for a drag strip too.

Thanks guys,How bout different spur & pinion gears? I just bought a set of the Hostile Slicks. They are not as tall as the stock HPI tires.any thoughts on that. Thanks Herbie

you can gear up. but you ll want to be sure you have some motor to push taller gears. you can go as tall as 20/54, but will want some good torque to get it going quickly, and then some tall gearing to take advantage of faster top speeds.
