so i broke a dogbone pin in the cvd of my MT...ordered some from mcmaster...50 for 8 bucks...since i was replacing one i figured why not replace them all...since they must be junk... while replacing them i found two of the fronts had also broke:eek: just one side of the pin... i also noticed that the cvd's have a place for 2 set screws...there was only one in each...was there suppose to be 2? anyways i put 2 in each with some loctite;) should help.

i have some new hitec steering servo's coming also.. so i went ahead an tore the whole truck down..and put all new acer ceramic racing bearings in the whole truck:D i haven't ran this truck a whole lot and found that some of the factory bearing were crunchy and didnt work very well... and some had been overtightened from the factory and crushed...

also had some shims in the hub to take up some slop..(from factory) way to tight on the bearings...i removed one frome each side and this really help free up how the truck rolls...without creating slop..big difference just doing that.

anyways just wanted to post up what i found...might help someone...
