My stock servo went out in less then thirty days so i did some checking and ordered the hitec 5755 and installed it a day ago but now it seems as though my truck when sitting on the ground wont dry steer it has to be moving forward but it steeres just fine when tires are of the ground just like the stock servo would do..... help any sugestion bad servo maybe ps nothing is binding....
 
where is that? is that the alu. looking nut that is next to the front diff.

The servo saver could be too loose. Put it on the ground, steer left/right and watch the servo saver to see if it flexes too much. If it does, tighten it up a bit and see if that helps.

+1. If its not steering check the radio knobs. Two of them is for steering. One sets the steering on how wide you can steer. On the stock radio its the knob all the way to the right.

Easy way to check if the saver is to lose. Pick the truck up and steer it. If it steers that's good. Now lay it down in grass or carpet, If it don't steer then your saver is to lose. Turn them down a few threads and try again. Don't go to far otherwise you will break the servo arms! Trust on me that I went through 3 sets.

I have mine adjusted really lose. The reason for this is to save the servos so they don't overheat. And to save the arms or any stress. Plus when your in motion you don't really need them that tight.
