I just got my 2 hitec 5755 mg servos in the mail today :D !!! well when i go to put them in tom is there any special way to hook them up other then the y harness included with the truck. I have never used a dual steering set up and would like a little advice before i start it. thanks for any info guys!! sure have learned alot :D :D I am using the spektrum dx2s radio with the sr300 3 channel reciever Idk if thats any needed info. I really love this truck and haven't drove it yet just busy spending cash on upgrades to make this upcoming summer a blast:cool:

Hook them up with the stock splitter. You'll have to mess with the linkages to get them to stop fighting each other. But they will fight each other to a certain extent, no matter how perfect you get the linkages. Just something you'll have to live with.

You'll also need to drill new mounting holes on the servo mount. Trim off the top nubs, and mount the servo using the lower nubs. While you have the servo mounted, drill the new holes, thread the screws in and you're done.

Please save yourself the trouble! Them servos are junk so please mail them to me lol. I would love to do this mod but for now both stock ones work excellent for me.

Hitec makes a programer that will match the servos so they don't fight each other so you don't burn up your new servos :D

I would send them to ya
I was only kidding. It seems thats a really good upgrade for these large 1/5th scales. I looked all over at other servo companies and the 5755 is the best bet. Futaba has a large scale servo out for $45 BUT it has nylon gears EEEK.

soo that programmer will be the best bet? I really don't want to burn these up

I have not used a programmer either that's seeming like 2 much I got the Servos in they humming a tiny bit but i am waiting for the mail tom my ddm aluminum servo arms will be here. Then I will adjust the linkages and hope its good 2 go.

When you get your servo arms, mount first one servo, get it centered the best you can and with the wheels straight. now turn the wheels left and right, does it stay centered?. OK now take off that linkage and try to get the two exactly alike and repeat what you did with the first servo, should be evad now and straight.any buzzing from fighting each other?, use the sub trim, just a little, should go away or diminish a whole lot. Hope this helps Bro. So jealous of you guys, can't wait to get my MT!

Do one side first, get it nice and straight, any buzzing? use the sub trim, should diminsh, now do the same for the other side. Hope this helps you out Bro.
