I have never used one. I have heard others setting servos up without them but the programmer will set them exact so as to not cause any undue stress on them.
I am interested in what you find out on this one. Good question.

I have have & have used the HFP-20.
Its very easy to use! it's designed for digi programable servos, but can be used to test analogue servos as well.
It is a lot of cash for a tool that gets used rarely, but there' s no better way to set up multiple steering servos.
It can also be used to check the signal pulse from the reciever.

Hope this helps.

It allows you to program your servos when your radio cannot do what you want them to. It will also allow you to run more then one off of one channel but you can make them act totally different depending on what you want each to do.

ahh I see, so in escence, allows you to place all the settings you would put on a computer Tx with analogue servos into the digi-servo (endpoint, reverse, etc) therefore match up two servos pervectly for duel steering or whatever else.

it never occured to me before that such things would be useful, but I see now.

It is truly the only way to eliminate any stress in a dual servo set. Without it you will always have one fighting the other slightly.

Some times you would like one to go one way and the other the other. And on top of that you would like ones end point to be farther then the other. With the programmer you are set.:)

So for the dual steering servo setup's. This
is a good idea to save those Rhino's from
becoming a waste of cash.

I am checking into one of these since I am
purchasing my first Large Scale with dual
sterring servo's and don't want to do any
unecessary damage.
