Here we go again!!
Another British GP, and more chaos for the die-hard fans - camping in the mud again!!
Let's hope it's an entertaining weekend, and not too many accidents.

Definitely let's hope there's no blasted FINGER!!:(
If he didn't do that, I'd probably like him!! ;);)

Loads will be camping on Billing where my van is. With the rain the fields will be a swamp, pretty much like the pics I posted a few months ago. The weather is always like this for Wimbledon and with the Olympics as well this summer are we actually going to see any sun??

mate i don't want to rub it in and i feel for those that have been hit bad with the rain but its been proper summer here over the last couple of days

back on topic though i hope you guys enjoy the race as im bloody going in hospital for tests all poxy day and going to be sedated and will spend most the day getting pulled about and nutted so i hope its a good race and expect a good right up of what happened hopefully im home and awake by 7ish for the bbc 3 re-run even if im still in fairy land lol

well that was fun couple of hours nice work again by the schumacher 3rd great result in very hard conditions if tomorrows race is anything like today i will be home from hospital before the race is over or started result

I cannot understand how the hell they permit Silverstone to host the British F1 GP!!
10-15 YEARS AGO flooding was named as a major problem for the available 'parking', together with access in/out.

Supposedly Silverstone has been 'completely revamped' - WHERE? !!

I know the pits have been moved, and there's 'the wing', but wtf are they doing, not remotely considering the location - UK, IT RAINS!!

'It's fine if there's no rain'.
How about, 'I thoroughly enjoyed my drive from Germany to UK, to see the F1. The available facilities were more than adequate, with appropriate parking and access for all visitors, without any problems and easy and rapid egress from the circuit, for my return trip ....'

This is what WE EXPECT of other circuits throughout the world, so why can't we get it right?
I was absolutely disgusted to hear of such problems, of course ending with 'we've the best fans in the world, just look what they've had to endure to be here' !!
IT SHOULDN'T HAPPEN IN SUCH A HIGH PROFILE, HIGH FINANCE, BLOODY EXPENSIVE SPORT!!

Quite amazed at how calm and reflective Lewis was as well, simply saying 'no excuses, couldn't switch on the Inters, never mind, it's another day tomorrow' !!
Guess I won't be wearing my 'rocket red' t-shirt tomorrow afternoon? !!

truth is mate were 20 years behind the other race tracks its a joke and there making us look silly,,we need a new world class track great britain the home of motorsport shut down by a bit of rain its crazy

don't change silverstone circuit! Change the facilities. Its one of the only remaining old world race tracks fast, tricky and great to watch. these Tilkedromes might have great facilities for entertaining promotors and sponsors but lead to boring safe homogonised racing. Keep the old world fast circuits.

Agreed on the track - one of the last 'we love the track' circuits.
Facitilities obviouisly stink.

I love motor racing, but whilst things are this bad, and require a Landy just to guarantee access, I'll watch it on TV.

I've been to Monaco in 1995 (+/-), back-to-back Austria / Germany and 2000 Indianapolis F1 - None had ANY major problems.
Weather was very wet at Indy, but the coach pulled into a paved trailor park 100m (METRES) from the circuit.
You simply walked across the road and within 10 minutes were seated!!

If Silverstone wants to keep 'traditional values', it should keep traditional prices - fiver a ticket tops!!
