duel steering servo

Hi all im sorting my marder out been out of action for a while it burnt out 2 servos im under the understanding i can run duel steering servos. Dose any one have any pics of how to set it up ive got a matching pair of servos but now lost.

what are you lost with mate did you have 2 steering servos before or just the one i used to run 2 but same i destroyed 2 servos and just fitted one back in it half the cost although fg recomend fitting 2 servos if youve got front disc's but mines been sort of ok with just one

I had one and it killed it got another and it died on first run so i bought a matched pair to run duel but have no clue how to configure and what else i need to get.

ok you will need a y lead cheap on ebay and maybe a new radio tray if its only cutout for a single servo but if its cutout for 2 then its just a y lead plug both the servos in and the single end in to the rx make sure there both set in the middle then fit your servo arms

out of intrest what servos did you get as you realy want metal gears ive snapped the plastic ones clean off after 5 min runs

I've got twin Rhinos on the steering on one of mine, but that's an FG MT, using MCD chevron MT tyres.
These tyres are BIG and grip hard, so I decided I needed the twin set-up.

Is it really necessary doubling the servos on the smaller section tyres used on Marders, etc.?

Thanks for replys guys all servos are metal gears the first two didnt striip gears it fried the board. I guess u set one servo to each wheel as thats wot im not sure how to config.

Basically it's NOT one servo to each wheel, it's the two linked into one servo saver, which transfers the torque to the steering.

Sweet cheers guys that spot on i hunted google for a pic to no sucsess. Just need to go get a couple of servo arms tomoz and off i go. Still don't know why it fried the other servos just hope its not a faulty reciver as the board burbt out.

make sure you set your end points on the handset so its not trying to steer more than it needs to this will kill a servo

Nice one renbar thats wot prob did it as i was messing around with hand set not realy knowing wot i was doing when the first one went. And i new something wss wrong as the second one went so quickly. Oooppps!!!!
