Had a extended cold snap here. I keep a volt meter in the truck. Went to the transfer station to unload my trash. looked at the battries on the pallets, when it gets cold, any battery will turn over slower. What do i see on the pallets? 2 new mopar 750 cca battries, 1 650 amp ac delco. the terminals were all clean.- volt meter read 12.47 vdc. sorta snagged them up,took them home. I put a luquid, Cadmeium sulfate 1/4 ox in each cell, charged them up. Now i have the 2 mopar battries linked together for a total of 1,500 amps. this is used to power the ham radios- amps in the shack out back. The ac delco went into the Dodge d-50 truck- 4 banger engine- this battery really spins it over in proper fashon. Took the old truck battery to the junker-looked and saw a troy built rear tine roto tiller. the tires were not even worn. But, it needed a oil seal, gas tank. traded the dead battery for the tiller. damm , that tiller was heavy to load. Primed the tiller up with gas, started second pull. Now, come spring- i can fix the back yard -all the craters spank has dug- elk legs, bird skins- puts them in holes to ripen them up- aint that just like a dog--
