Dune Runner for Christmas??

So I got my phone bill today while i was looking it over, I saw that there was an outgoing call to Phoenix from my fiance's phone (the first call she made last month)!! So i looked it up and it was to Redcat!! I've been hinting to her that I want either the Dunerunner or the HobbyKing Baja 260s!!! Basically she was on the phone with RedCat for 20 mins so either she was researching or buying (hopefully buying) but i have 2 questions...has anybody tried the single steering servo conversion?? If so, how is it working out? I don't feel like buying 2 new Hi-tec servos!! I mean i could also use got2gorc.com rebuilt HPI baja servos for cheap!!

I have been wanting to ask everyone with a dune runner if they make notches in the servo mount holders and the radio box so that the front center dogbone doesn't rub?

The MT is the only cat with dual steering servos. Good luck. Stay on the nice list!

It just barely touches the radio box on mine... so I let it wear it's own groove and everything has been fine. Plus the dogbone now has a highly polished section in the middle... :D
