What is the differance in performance between the two? Is the Dunerunner faster? The Mt will take the big hits better, right? Just bought the MT pro and waiting for it to arrive......Basically, I'm jonesing and wondering if I'm going to have to buy Dunerunner too!

I have a dunerunner and my MT is on the way. I can not compare the two because I have never seen an MT in person. However, I can tell you what I love about my dunerunner. I put an X-Can exhaust on it which is apparently not the best, but it still beefed up the engine quite a bit. It sits lower than the MT, but I don't really use it for the same kind of bashing I will do with my mt. I currently put HPI tarmac buster tires on it and use it primarily on smooth surfaces. It drives great and I love the speed. Fast enough to be very impressive but yet not uncontrollable. It is pretty tough, it has taken plenty of jumps and lots of dirt (when I had the stock tires on it). The chasis is very strong. I love my dunerunner and wouldnt trade it for anything.

The Dune Runner should accelerate a bit faster only because it does not have the huge tires. The Dune Runner is a bit lighter than the MT Pro. The MT Pro is all metal which makes it heavy.

I also switched the gear on the clutch bell and the one it connects to... that did indeed give me a little more top end. I don't know why I didnt think of it on my own, but I saw it on here somewhere.

RC Dad- stop reading forums and get working on the Rally... we all want to see it... ha ha ha

LOL Funny. My fingers are sore from cutting. LOL don't worry I did some work on her today I'll post soon enough.

I have dune runner and mt. My dune runner is Awsome with my rear dom and hostile mx sure tears up the dirt! I switched my gears around as well and it sure flyes with stock motor. I put a better head on now and can't even tell its a dune runner. My buddy has a prostock 27.2 in his baja and I walk all over him with my 2 bolt esp 30.5 head on stocker. Sure is a beast and my favorite for my driving

I will eventually invest in a different pipe... the X-can fit my budget when I bought it and it really is pretty quick. Since nobody else here runs 5th scales, I don't have anything to race it against... so I mainly just show it off and make the 1:10 guys watch as I run over their cars... ha ha ha.

We play on Sundays here, and some of the guys in the group have a theory that they cant quit playing until all the cars are broken. It is amazing that in a large parking lot with 4 or 5 cars racing around, we have some pretty bad collisions. However, my Cat is the biggest and strongest, so if they hit me, I usually just go over the tops of them.

The mt is Awsome but the dune runner is simply bad ass after it gets new rubber and better pipe
