Thought I'd take the plunge and bought this!!
I've bought the Tx only - kit comes with SR300, which I've (apparently?) got in nearly all of my vehicles anyway.
20-model memory ....

Don't know how the Fleabay link comes out.
They imply they split the DX3C kit to Tx and Rx separately.
MIGHT help sort out my remote kill switch problem?
(Relatively speaking) cheap as chips !!

I obviously thought it was a bit of a find.
Judging by the wording, it appears they do this on a regular basis if anyone's looking for a DX3C.
I'd use my Ebay link and ask the question if you were interested.

Does anyone actually have any experience with the handset?

I've had Spektrum from the initial 2.4GHz supplied with my 1/8 Raminator in December 2007, and within 6 months I've been using the 'normal' Spektrum DX3.0 ever since.

I'm reading a bit more into this radio set.
It does still appear to be a bit of a bargain and is DSM2 compatible but at the 'old' DSM frame rate, so not quite as fast as the DS3R - and a quarter of the price !!
Fully agree that the top radios have more and better features, but I really don't use my trucks enough to justify that sort of expense.
If I were a racer, it would be different.
