As you folks might know ,I have a DX3S and there is a slight problem with it.
When I turn the tranny off the failsafe goes into full throttle and not full brake!
If I try to reverse the sevo the throttle and brake go into the opposite direction.
I have now resorted to reversing the servo arm but this now rubs on the inside of the body of the baja.
Any ideas chaps?
Cheers
J.

the built in spekky failsafe is based on the servo position when you bind it, so reversing the channel on the Tx has no effect.

just re-bind it and it'll be fine.

No,Al.I took the PICO off and its just running the built in one.
Cheers Brawn,I think your right. It came out of one of my FG's which was opposite.

Killer Bee are meant to be the best Frump. When you bought the killswitch it should have radio compatible instructions.

Oh I made sure I checked if my v1 killer bee would work and found this chart on Kent's website:celebrate:

I'm running KB V2s switch with mine, works well.

The only issue I'm having is with the receivers (3300, the one with telemetry), seems to kick into failsafe when I'm well within range and on the blind side of the radio box.

Does anyone body use a DX3S with a KillerBee?

If so, how do you set it up so you can kill the engine with the aux switch?

At the moment, I've been using the power button to kill the engine.

can only do it through the aux switch if you have a third channel compatible kill switch.

assuming that you have, there's a setting somewhere in the DX3s menu for 3rd channel mixing. Set this to off or Aux. then it should work off the switch.

I have my third channel set to RS (remote start) and use the push button to kill the engine. Saves the hassle of forgetting to flick the switch on and looking daft as you pullstart and get nothing. it is on by default (except when the failsafe kicks in)
