I'm doing a rebuild of my FG MT, and the tank look out of place between the black plastic, alu and chrome.

I know other dye their rc parts, but would the plastic in the tank be possible to dye?

J-Revo, I've done this on my 5B/5T. The process is simple. I'd recommend using RIT brand dye if you can find it. This tutorial is from Fast Eddy, it isn't mine, but the overall process is the same. Find a cheap used cooking pot (2+ gallons) and a place where your wife won't kill you if the stuff spills. It stains like crazy (obviously). The Baja tank needs to be scrubbed clean with alcohol and allowed to sit open for an hour or so to remove oil, then vapors. I'd also add about a 1/4 cup of vinegar to the dye. The tank will take about an hour to fully set, then rinse the excess and allow to dry. It will leach into your fuel over time from the tank, but it doesn't harm the engine.
